You will joining the Ahurea Taiao team at Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira, a close-knit group dedicated to safeguarding and enhancing the wellbeing of Ngāti Toa’s environment, culture, and people. We collaborate across various functions to drive projects that ensure our iwi’s aspirations are met through effective reporting, monitoring, and compliance systems. The team thrives on innovation, support, and a shared commitment to advancing the mana of our iwi, fostering a strong connection to our values of kaitiakitanga, whanaungatanga, and rangatiratanga.

Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role

Kaitohu – Analyst Reporting and Monitoring is responsible for:

  • Leading the design and implementation of reporting systems, processes, and tools to ensure the timely delivery of milestones and data across internal and external contracts.

  • Monitoring and producing accurate reports that meet the needs of Pou Toa Matarau and stakeholders, ensuring performance outputs and outcomes are aligned with strategic goals.

  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for continuous service improvement, while fostering strong relationships with partners and funding entities to support Ngāti Toa’s aspirations.

Your expertise in reporting and monitoring systems will be second nature, and you’ll be excited to bring your skills to support Ngāti Toa’s strategic goals. You’ll be well-practiced in:

  • Designing and implementing robust reporting frameworks and tools,

  • Interpreting data and providing actionable insights for stakeholders,

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
