Re: Shaping Aotearoa

Re:Shape are a group of New Zealanders who believe the time has come to improve our democracy and machinery of government. We want all who serve our nation to have a better system to work within than exists at present. The elected politicians focus purely on short-term benefits, but we as whānau are here for the long-term outcomes. We are the manaaki of our whenua, and tipuna of our moko to come. So its time we have our say.

We are a country that said no nuclear weapons and yes to women’s voting. We are capable of change, and power. We have invited senior political figures to participate in a public forum to discuss these issues, but invite you to stand up.

Nothing will change unless you and I decide to act and change it.
