You will join a team that is passionate about working with rangatahi and whanau.  Our team strives hard to ensure our rangatahi are safe and we adopt a kaimahi centred approach for all health and safety matters. 

 

Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role

The 502 Youth worker role is responsible for

·         Supporting rangatahi and their whanau through youth engagement

·         Programme development and facilitation and youth participation

·         Health promotion

·         Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace

·         Contribute to the 502 team

 

Ko ngā wheako ōu | About you

Well, after hearing about us and about the role, you’ll know whether you’re the right person, and whether now is the right time for you. Your high-level experience and professional expertise in youth work is a given, and you will be excited to engage and learn alongside Ngāti Toa.  Of course, you’ll be well practiced with/in

·         Planning and delivering youth events in the community

·         Be relatable to rangatahi

·         Good at planning and time management

·         A great problem solver
