You will join the Ōhanga (Economic Development and Investment) team, specifically working in the Portfolio Management (Iwi-Owned Entities) business area. Our team is dedicated to driving growth across our Iwi-owned business network, facilitating collaborative strategic outcomes, and managing vertically, horizontally and circular integrated economic outcomes. We work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure our portfolio contributes to the prosperity and wellbeing of our Iwi.

The Business Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing the Commercial Portfolio business area within the team. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Overseeing and monitoring the portfolio's performance

  • Managing compliance and shareholder expectations

  • Identifying and monitoring portfolio and entity-specific risk factors

  • Developing and managing compliance management plans

  • Providing portfolio level reporting

  • Managing relationships with appointed directors and key personnel across the portfolio

  • Driving growth and facilitating collaborative strategic outcomes
