Sitting within our broader Pātaka Toa – Education & Employment team; our Digital and Events team is newly formed function that has some amazing, innovative, creative and dynamic people who are passionate about providing exceptional service delivery to our whānau and broader Pātaka Toa group. 

Our roles at Pātaka Toa is a collective effort, and we work together to facilitate our communities to achieve prosperity. The Digital Content Specialist is a varied role, which is responsible for ….

  • Supporting meaningful content that captures special capture moments in time,  artefacts and a myriad of other content that can enable us as a service to achieve positive outcomes,   

  • Developing enduring professional relationships with everyone that you meet, and

  • Foster opportunities to collaborate and work across our service to enhance and uplift the mana of Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira and Ngāti Toa whānau.

Well, after hearing about us and about the role, we hope you are excited to apply.  In recognition of your experience and professional expertise in Digital, media and/or communicatons, we can offer you a variety of projects and pieces of mahi (work) that you will find rewarding. Alongside the opportunity to support our Ngāti Toa aspirations.  Of course, you’ll be well practiced with/in

  • Digital media content creation – specifically, video/media content.

  • Relationship management and kaupapa partner enablement,

  • Specific digital media tools and systems, specifically but not limited to Canvas, Adobe, Video editing suite tools and CSS/other web content creation systems, and

  • Exposure or a familiarity of Project management would be advantageous.
